Since 2007, we have been running a pro bono legal advice clinic, Oxford Legal Assistance, staffed by law students from the University of Oxford for people with immigration difficulties. The Prison Employability Project was established to help inmates at Springhill Prison prepare for release by helping inmates find and apply for employment and education opportunities. Student lawyers work with prison relocation staff to inform inmates of their legal rights and obligations under the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act.
